The “Ascend Montessori” idea is supported by a passionate team looking to give children the capabilities to reach their full potential in early education and preparedness to excel into confident individuals. Our main goal is to provide early childhood with an immersive, contemporary curriculum that incorporates classic Montessori practices, future leadership and technology.

The core of our model is the Montessori method; thus, we are focused on a student-centered approach to learning and inculcating confidence for independence. Everything that happens in a Montessori setting is designed based on the premise that students are naturally curious about the surrounding world and the desire to learn and discover new things every day. This early foundation is the premise of what Dr. Maria Montessori called “self-motivated growth in all areas of development”.

THE MONTESSORI CONCEPT

We are curious from birth. We have got to where we are due to our inquisitiveness, desire to learn, to innovate and improvise.
- Montessori is a method of education that is based on self-directed activity, hands-on learning and collaborative play.
- In Montessori classrooms, children make creative choices in their learning in how the classroom is structured and the through age-appropriate activities offered by the teacher (aka a “Guide” in the Montessori setting) to aide the learning process.
- Children work in groups and individually to discover and explore knowledge of the world and develop their maximum potential.

THE AscendMTL CONCEPT

The AscendMTL concept predicated on the success of prominent people like Larry Page, Sergey Brin and Jeff Bezos, to name a few; and the architects of Empower Services Group of Minnesota (ESG-MN), who attended Montessori schools and own and operate them.

The AscendMTL concept is focused on the leadership elements and empowerment of leaders for the future. We achieve this by providing well-tested, quality education to early childhood students through the Montessori system highlighting leadership, independence, open-thinking, innovation, self-discipline, making responsible choices, structure, initiative, intrinsic motivation, respect and the freedom to improvise that the Montessori system is respected for.

With technology being a significant part of the future generation, the AscendMTL system is carefully designed to incorporate relevant foundational technology elements in its teaching methodology.
